Unit Details:
Typical nursing duties similar to a Med/Surg unit. The patients on this unit have to qualify for 3 hours of therapy services each day so they work very closely with the other disciplines: PT, OT and Speech. The patients usually stay on the unit for 2 weeks. Most patients on the unit are stroke patients, brain injuries or somebody that suffered a traumatic injury and needs some rehabilitation.As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.EMR - EPICOT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25xOT billed after 48 hrs regardless of weekly guarantee
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Med Surg or Rehabilitation experience caring for Neuro/Trauma patients; stroke, brain injuries, etc...
travel experience desired
EPIC emr experience
