Long Term Care CNA

Schedule:

• Day/night, every other weekend, holiday rotation.

• 12 hr shifts, 7-7

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Med/Surg department.

• Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.

• Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.

• Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.

Requirements:

• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems.

• IA RN license or nursing compact license.

• BLS and ACLS are required.

• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred.
